As a general contractor, MSP is responsible for the overall coordination of a project in the construction phase and its financial administration. This may include permitting, progress meetings, jobsite logistics, construction security, safety measures, managing temporary utilities, supervision of all personnel and trade partners, working with surveyors, inspectors, and venders.

• Construction Services:

  1. Project Coordination:

     • Functions to ensure completion schedules are met in addition to client communication, jobsite safety, budget control, subcontract administration, product submittals, change orders and close out documents.

  2. Site Supervision:

     • Onsite representation with superintendent(s) depending on the size of the project, with the purpose of overseeing all company and trade partners to ensure a safe working environment, quality control, drive the construction schedule, establish daily reports and photos, point of contact for inspector and material vendors.

  3. Scheduling:

     • As a team the project manager and on-site superintendent work together to develop and implement the project construction schedule and provide updates as required.

  4. Accounting and Cost Control:

     • MSP Developers uses current market software and systems to provide accurate and concise project tracking to stay on top of costs. These tools help ensure that financial decisions are based on real-time information to timely process payable and receivable. Following industry standards with lien waivers, COIs, and other checks and balances.

  5. Quality Control:

  6. Punchlist and Closeout:

     • Both the project manager and superintendent work in conjunction with the trades to ensure that the end users and owners' satisfaction is met. We pride ourselves with “punching out as we go”. This helps tighten re-work, delays, and saves time in the overall construction schedule and close out. In the final close out, documents will be prepared by us. This includes an operation maintenance manual along with any as-built drawings and changes made during the construction for future reference.

    4. Value engineering and construction review:

       • Reviewing construction documents, material procurements, scope of work, proposals, specifications, site logistics, and scheduling conflicts to implement cost savings in time and means and methods.

    5. Permit and entitlement management:

       • Coordinate and expedite the entire permit application, review, and approval process, to include handling timely comment responses and meeting with permit authorities to determine all requirements and associated costs.
